
OVERVIEW
FSC type 4-20mA long-range wireless transmission terminal is a new generation of wireless signal transmission instrument developed and researched specifically for the special situations of certain users on site.
In various industries such as petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, power, and warehousing, various level and flow measuring instruments output 4-20mA DC current signals. This output signal is transmitted from the on-site measuring instrument to the control room using a two-wire or three wire transmission method. This transmission method has to lay long-distance transmission wires, and the transmission distance is limited, so it cannot be transmitted over long distances.
Our company has developed 4-20mA.DC wireless transmission terminals specifically for users' special on-site situations.
The FSC type 4-20mA. DC wireless signal transmission terminal has a transmission distance of up to 2000m, and has a series of advantages such as easy installation, reliability, and no need to lay wired transmission lines. Therefore, it is a technological leap in the 4-20mA signal transmission method, representing a new level of long-distance transmission of 4-20mA signals today.
PURPOSE
The FSC type 4-20mA wireless transmission terminal consists of a main unit and a sub unit to form a wireless signal transmission system, which can be used for wireless transmission of various output 4-20mA instrument signals. Especially for newly installed level and flow meters with outputs of 4-20mA, there is no need to lay wired signal transmission lines. FSC type wireless transmission terminals can be used to send (host) and receive (slave) 4-20mA signals.
FEATURES
The FSC type 4-20mA wireless transmission terminal adopts a low-power large-scale wireless data transmission module, which has the following characteristics:
- Low power transmission, with a transmission power of 500mW.
- The carrier frequency is 433MHz/2.4GHz.

High anti-interference ability and low bit error rate.
The modulation method based on GFSK adopts forward error correction channel coding technology, which improves the ability of data to resist burst interference and random interference. When the channel error rate is 10-3, the actual error rate can be obtained as 10-5-10-6. -
The transmission distance is far.
In line of sight conditions, the antenna is 1.5 meters above the ground, and the reliable transmission distance can reach 2000m (BER=10-3)/19600bps. -
Transparent data transmission.
Automatically filter out noise signals and false data generated in the air (what is sent is received). -
Intelligent data control.
Even in half duplex communication, as long as data is received/transmitted from the interface, FSC can automatically complete other operations such as over the air conversion and control. -
Low power consumption function.
The overall power supply is less than 5W (AC 220V) -
High reliability, small size, and light weight.

Instructions for using FSC wireless data transmission module
The FSC series wireless data transmission module can provide various transmission distances to meet the requirements of users for various transmission distances. It can be directly connected to various instruments that output 4-20mA signals. The FSC application schematic is shown in the following figure:

FSC is based on user needs. Can share power supply with other devices (24V DC or 220V AC), but please choose a power supply with better ripple factor. It is recommended not to use a switch power supply. If you want to use a switch power supply, please pay attention to the interference of switch pulses on the wireless module. In addition, if there are other devices in the system equipment, they must be reliably grounded. If there is no reliable access to the earth, it can become its own place.
Selection of installation location
- FSC cannot be installed in places with electromagnetic shielding
- Try not to install in environments with strong electromagnetic interference
- Try to avoid tall buildings as much as possible to prevent communication distance from shortening
- Outdoor installation must be equipped with lightning protection devices to prevent damage to equipment caused by lightning
Attention: There should be no wireless transmitter with the same operating frequency of 433MHz as this device on site or within the communication range of this wireless transceiver, otherwise it will cause interference to this device and prevent it from working properly.
